Commercial Concrete Dumpster Pads
Protect Your Pavement with Reinforced Concrete Dumpster Pads in the KC Metro
Dumpster enclosures and equipment areas take a beating—and without the right base in place, the surrounding pavement can crack, rut, or fail completely. Boswell Concrete & Asphalt installs reinforced concrete dumpster pads for commercial and municipal properties across the Kansas City metro, giving you a clean, strong surface designed to handle the daily pressure of heavy trucks, waste containers, and utility equipment.
Whether you’re replacing a worn-out section or installing a new pad as part of site development, our team pours concrete pads built to last.
What Makes a Dumpster Pad Work
Our dumpster pad installations are more than just a slab of concrete—they’re purpose-built to prevent costly damage. We pour pads with the proper depth, strength, and reinforcement to withstand repeated dumping, rolling containers, and truck traffic. The typical pad is at least 6 inches thick and extends 10–15 feet beyond the dumpster to distribute weight evenly.
We use rebar or welded wire mesh for reinforcement, and we install control joints to help prevent cracking. Our broom-finished, non-skid surface improves traction and safety—especially important in loading zones or utility access points.
Also Ideal for Equipment & Loading Areas
While most pads are built for trash and recycling enclosures, the same durable construction makes them ideal for generator pads, electrical equipment pads, and loading pad areas behind retail stores, restaurants, or industrial buildings.
Boswell installs each pad with proper grading and drainage in mind. We leave at least 3 feet of clearance on all sides for truck access and to prevent damage during collection.
How We Do It
We start by marking the area, cutting and excavating the site, and setting up barriers to keep the work zone safe. After placing the reinforcement, we pour and finish the concrete, score joints, and apply a non-slip broom finish. As with every Boswell job, it’s done entirely in-house—by a crew that knows what they’re doing.
Boswell Concrete & Asphalt installs heavy-duty concrete dumpster pads that protect your site and extend the life of your pavement.
